Invasive Fungal Infections in Cancer Patients — Rod Quilitz, Pharm.D.

Rod Quilitz, PharmD, clinical pharmacist at Moffitt Cancer Center, speaks about invasive fungal infections in immunocompromised patients. He discusses risk factors that predisposes immunocompromised patients to IFIs, common fungal pathogens, and available antifungal agents. He discusses the impact of prolonged neutropenia and different levels of CD4 cell counts on susceptibility to fungal infections.
