The Supplemental Oxygen Entry Reform Act (SOAR) of 2024, designed to ease entry to supplemental oxygen for Medicare beneficiaries, was launched within the US Home of Representatives by a bipartisan group of members of Congress.
The laws, launched by Representatives David Valadao (R-CA), Larry Bucshon, MD (R-IN), Adrian Smith (R-NE), and Julia Brownley (D-CA), is equivalent to S.3821 launched by US Senators Invoice Cassidy, MD (R-LA), Mark Warner (D-VA), and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) on Feb 28. The SOAR Act would set up a brand new cost methodology for liquid oxygen and for supplemental oxygen sufferers to entry respiratory therapists.
