There have been 3 outbreaks (outlined as 3 or extra associated instances) reported in 2025, and 93% of instances (280 of 301) are outbreak-associated, in line with the CDC.
In line with CDC knowledge, 229 of the confirmed instances (76%) have occurred in people age 19 and youthful, and 95% have occurred in individuals unvaccinated or with unknown vaccination standing.

Fatalities
There have been two measles-related deaths in 2025, one confirmed dying of a school-aged youngster in Texas, and a second dying beneath investigation in a New Mexico grownup who examined constructive for measles autopsy.
